The Vice President of Grant Management will lead and manage the people and processes that support Vibrant’s day-to-day management of contracts with external partners. This leader will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance. This leader will provide analytics and decision support to the CFO, CEO, and other Executive Leadership to allow Vibrant to deliver high-quality emotional wellness services to an ever-increasing client volume.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio of non-988 contracts, ensuring that all contracts are being invoiced regularly and funders are getting the required information requested.
- Work closely with the CFO, Controller, and other finance leadership to track spending against all non-988 contracts, monitoring risks and developing mitigation strategies to limit exposure to financial risks.
- Support and partner with the SVP of Financial Transformation and Operations and the SVP of FP&A in upgrading and implementing an appropriate system of policies, templates for corporate wide tracking, and ensuring that individual programs understand the differenced between the contract requirements and Vibrant’s internal budget.
- Oversee the relationship management between Vibrant and the fiscal teams at the funding agencies, namely New York City, New York State, Medicaid, and a multitude of private funders.
- Develop and maintain internal processes for managing the contracted portfolio, namely creating a shared database for regularly updated documents to provide excellent internal customer service.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and optimize reporting and analytics.
- Develop insightful presentation materials for senior management reviews aimed at facilitating decision-making and business performance assessments.
- Provide presentations and updates directly to Executive Leaders as needed.

- Passion for Vibrant’s mission, passionate about improving the lives of others and familiarity federal funding and other healthcare financing for behavioral health.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed or pursuing a Master’s Degree, preferably in public affairs or public administration.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior roles demonstrating consistent growth in management responsibilities and span of control.
- Experience in analyzing State, Federal or non-governmental funding sources contracted services.
- Experience in dealing with New York City and New York State contract management systems a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates and potential roadblocks
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time while reviewing data on a screen
