Vibrant Health KC is Hiring a Nursing Administrative Coordinator Near Kansas, KS

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Nursing Administrative Coordinator will work closely with Nursing Management to meet the organizational needs of the clinic. This individual will have strong clerical and communication skills to help manage the department needs and workflows for employees and contractors.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Assists with developing and maintaining updated schedules and communication for the Nursing department.
  • Assists with time keeping and recording functions in ADP, including PTO and other time off requests.
  • Assists in reporting functions with data collection, tracking, report maintenance, running reports as needed.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for administrative questions and help in problem solving or referring to the correct points of contact.
  • Order supplies.
  • Assist with calendar maintenance for Nursing Leadership.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Displays excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of ability to multitask and foster positive relationships with all levels of employees.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
Individual must:
  • Develop rapport with patients and their families, community and other health care personnel.
  • Exhibit a professional and respectful demeanor.
  • Work successfully independently and within a team, shifting tasks, prioritize tasks, problem-solve daily, and complete work within deadline
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, helpfulness, and a positive attitude.
  • Possess superior organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize, understand, and appreciate the value of cultural diversity and communicate medical information in plain language.
  • Demonstrate social and cultural sensitivity appropriate to ethnically and economically diverse patients and staff.
  • Exhibit experience and working knowledge of local community resources
  • Hold current drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
  • Travel to all parts of the facility and throughout the community.


PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • Supply or inventory management experience

  • Employment is contingent upon successful clearance from Criminal, Kansas and Missouri Child/Elder Abuse and Neglect, Sex Offender background investigations, TB testing, pre-employment drug testing, and verification of Hepatitis-B, flu and COVID-19 immunizations.
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability are required.
