Job FunctionReporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. This individual will assist in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and the overall well-being of our workforce.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Participate in career fairs or other recruitment events as needed.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and facilitating training sessions.
  • Process paperwork for employee terminations, conduct exit interviews, and ensure smooth offboarding procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and appropriate assistance or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations issues by conducting investigations, documenting findings, and recommending solutions in alignment with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve issues and answer questions regarding benefits coverage.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis as needed.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, compliance audits, and employee engagement programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field,
  • 1 years of experience in Human Resources related experience
  • Proficient knowledge in the application of Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationship at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to apply conflict resolution methods, use consensus building skills to improve overall communication, and practice and promote integrity and ethical behavior to promote a positive working environment.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, make priority decisions and solve problems in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment
  • HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
  • Workday experience
