• Coordinate project activities and project resources.
• Guide the relationship with the DOH Business Units, vendors and all stakeholders.
• Define/refine project scope.
• Administer project change control procedures.
• Establish project plans and schedules.
• Track project progress and resolve deviations from the estimated schedule.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Assess work estimates against projected budget estimates.
• Assist with the documentation and escalation and resolution of project issues.
• Document and mitigate project risk.
• Participate in project status meetings.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Project Manager: Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
- Senior: 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
Requested Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/Management or similar field of study.
- 72 months of experience in managing multiple COTS software implementation projects and/or in-house application development (SDLC) projects.
- 60 months of experience in developing and maintaining schedules in Microsoft Project.
- 60 months experience working with State, Federal or Local government agencies.
- 60 months experience in a Medicaid environment and the interactions between Medicaid, Medicare, providers and other state and federal agencies and programs.
- 60 months experience with developing and maintaining working relationships and interactions/communications with internal/external stakeholders and Executive level stakeholders.
- 24 months holding (PMP) Project Management Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI).
