Short description of the position:
Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of
development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those
platforms - beyond that of a Programmer. The ITS Specialist-Senior position will provide technical
assistance and assessment of designated NYS OMH facilities via the NYS ITS Network Site Consultation
process. This will include but not limited to circuit bandwidth, Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system
upgrades and wireless upgrades. The position will require travel to complete the physical site
assessments

Qualifications

 24 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting wireless network
infrastructure
12 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting VOIP phones

 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting data communications
equipment
 60 Months of Experience conducting technical site surveys
 60 Months of Experience data cable installation/troubleshooting
 36 Months of Experience conducting inventory control
 36 Months of Experience in desktop support
 24 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting PCs and printers

Additional Information

Compensation - $45-50/h on 1099 or C2C
