Busy pediatric office is seeking a Medical Receptionist /Front Office Personnel to work full time at our office located in Cumming, GA.

Job Skills and Requirements:

• Present a pleasant personality to patients, providers,representatives etc. in person and on the phone

• Ability to interact effectively and in a supportivemanner with persons of all backgrounds

• Treat people with respect, compassion, dignity, andintegrity.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and tomulti-task

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbalcommunication skills

• Excellent telephone skills and etiquette

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail

• Basic typing skills

• Hands-on PC compatible computer knowledge,understanding and skill

• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office

• Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality ofinformation as appropriate

• Familiarity with Insurance plans and the process ofverification

• Reliable and dependable

• Work as a team player

Responsibilities and Duties Job Description:

• Greet patients and clinic visitors; be courteous,polite, and helpful to the public and clients at all times when representingour practice.

• Checking in / Checking Out patients.

• Collecting and verifying insurance information.Determine the financial status of patients and their eligibility for services.

• Distribute and collect new patient forms andestablished patient updated forms.

• Updating patient files. Data entry. Assist patients inaccurately completing appropriate forms and document all information accordingto practice protocols.

• Scheduling appointments; confirmation calls

• Answering office phone calls

• Create recalls and make outgoing calls to patients

• Collectingbalances, co-pays, and payments

• Assist with other responsibilities as needed

• Scanning, naming, filing

• Upkeep of waiting areas

• Provider schedule prep

• Regulatory Compliance (review report, contact patientsto schedule, upload documentation as necessary) Benefits after 90 days include:

Required education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED

• Associate degree or Certification preferred Job Type:Full-time

Pay: $15 - $17 per hour

To keep our staff as safe as possible, we have specificCOVID-19 protocols. Patients are triaged before scheduled, sick patientsseparated from well visits, physical barriers and PPE in place.
