Job Title : Production Coordinator Fabrication

Location : Justin, TX

Reports To : Supervisor

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the fabrication department.

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for managing the fabrication process from start to finish, ensuring that all production activities are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Planning and Scheduling : Develop and maintain production schedules for fabrication projects to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary resources (materials, equipment, personnel) are available for fabrication.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.

Project Management : Oversee the entire fabrication process, from initial planning to final delivery.Track production milestones and ensure deadlines are met.

Collaborate with team members to resolve any fabrication-related problems or challenges.

Communication and Coordination : Act as a liaison between different departments, including design, engineering, and quality control, to ensure seamless production flow.

Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.Provide regular updates to management on production status, potential risks, and any necessary adjustments.

• Quality Control : Ensure all fabricated products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.Work closely with the quality control team to identify and address any quality issues during the fabrication process.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including schedules, progress reports, and inventory levels.

Prepare and present regular production reports to management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in production coordination, preferably in a fabrication environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in the fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques and processes.

Working Conditions :

• This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Exposure to a manufacturing / fabrication environment, including machinery and equipment.
