Warehouse Operative/ Shipping clerk

Your role and responsibilities
Coordinate with Transportation Management, Outbound Leadership and carriers to arrange timely order and direct delivery pick up Coordinate with Transportation Management, Inbound Leadership, and carriers to schedule inbound freight appointments Performs systematic trailer arrival and departure Prepare necessary documentation and contact carriers for pick up Monitors, updates and actions intransit report and error logs Provide assistance to customer service representatives concerning order status and special customer needs Document control for Purchase Orders and Bills of Lading Serve as a primary back up to the Senior Clerk (shipping) Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned
Qualifications for the role

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Computer skills required - Microsoft Word, Excel
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to adapt to changing situations
• Good interpersonal skills
• Detailed and team oriented
• Flexible to work different shifts if necessary and overtime with little or no notice
• Working knowledge of Blue Yonder, TOPS & MARC WMS systems
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
