Job Description

We are currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to assist our sales department in giving great customer service! The Lot Attendant will assist our sales team to provide smooth service to our customers working on buying a vehicle. He or she will move customer vehicles in and around the lot as needed, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in and around the lot areas.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and should be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Moves and works with vehicles to maintain an organized vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities.
  • Delivers vehicles to sites and locations as required.
  • Monitor fuel, tire pressure, and overall condition of vehicles; add air or fuel as needed, arrange for any other issues to be corrected.
  • Keep lot free of debris, weeds, etc.
  • Keep showroom and showroom vehicles clean and displayed properly.
  • Help clear snow and brush off vehicles in the winter months.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for delivery.
  • Prioritize vehicles that need to be prepped for delivery or washed based on general appearance.
  • Keep keys secure and organized.
  • Print and ensure all vehicles have proper tags, window stickers, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
