Immediate Opening for Maintenance Mechanic - Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Must be able to start immediately! Job Located in Traver, CA
Essential Job Functions :
Performing all phases of maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems. For example, fabricating, welding, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing required preventative maintenance.
Maintain required records, reporting and writing any uncorrected, mechanical/electrical defects, and replacement parts to the supervisor.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, including 480 V three face and PLC communication.
Fabricate, mild and stainless steel from Prince/drawings. Use of Tig and Arc welding. Use of torch and plasma cutter.
Diagnose conveyance and other process issues related to leak, plugs, bridging, etc.
Additional functions and other duties as a sign, but not limited to general cleaning, and or assist other crews has needed coordinating equipment, downtime services, and problems with area operators.
Requirements
Must have a min 5 years' experience as a Maintenance mechanic. WELDING experience with MIG and Arc welding on mild and stainless steel.
Knowledgeable in Lockout/Tag out procedures, confined space, and MSDS. Must follow OSHA and company policies and best practices.
Knowledge of electrical wiring for 120/240/480 V
Capability of repairing/replacing pump, motors and valves
Diagnose PLC issues and work with vendors to repair.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds. Working in confined space, ability to work and climb heights. Climbing, up-and-down ladder, stairs, Ben, stoop, kneel, crawl, Stand.
Compensation: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
