Role Description

You will work closely with clients, collaborating with the team to translate client expectations and preferences into a final design, while ensuring that every aspect of the design accurately reflects the client's vision. This role requires strong conceptual, documentation skills, attention to details and ability to work well in a team environment. This is a full-time position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create innovative and functional design concepts
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
• Develop detailed design plans, layouts, and specifications
• Select and source materials, furniture, and accessories
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
• Conduct site visits and offer design expertise during the construction phase
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into design concepts
• Lead a team from conceptual to documentation and delivery stage of projects
• Review your teams work and ensure practicality and useability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 5 years of experience working in the interior design industry
• Proficiency in Archicad and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of design principles and detailing, including furniture design, material selection, and lighting design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience in DA, CC and CDC applications
• Knowledge in industry standards and regulations
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior designers is a plus
• Experience working with commercial and/or hospitality interiors is a plus
