VIESTE, LLC is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our growing organization!

The Construction Project Manager is part of the project delivery team that is responsible for all aspects of the project from conceptual planning through construction completion. This incumbent has an extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques with proven construction management experience.

The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for:

• Conduct a thorough assessment of needs and clearly defines client’s project, develops program configurations, manages the design and conceptual budget studies, accurately bids and awards contracts.
• Leads design and architecture teams to develop programming and prepare specifications, detailed design drawings, reports, planning, and engineering services during construction.
• Monitor construction progress in material procurement and field production, assure adherence to quality, schedule and value standards established for the program.
• Oversee and monitor submittals, change orders, schedule, and pay applications.
• Responsible for monthly budget reconciliations, expenses, and invoicing, when applicable.
• Leads effective weekly OAC meetings to communicate progress, discuss issues, and expedite open items to closure.
• Manage the timely and efficient completion and close-out of projects, provide move-in assistance, and facilitate user orientation including maintenance requirements.
• Represent Vieste to clients, subcontractors, and industry partners in a way that enhances the company's reputation for handling our business professionally, ethically, and responsibly.
• Other construction project management duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7 years demonstrated strong project management skills; PMP/CAPM certification a plus.
• 7 years demonstrated experience in commercial and/or economic development projects.
• Ability to successfully manage clients and projects in a collaborative fashion and interface with vendors, subcontractors, and co-workers.
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work of assigned project staff to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, to quality and project interdependencies are identified and actively managed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a compensation range of $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience. This incumbent must live in the SWFL area and be able to commute regularly to our office in Bonita Springs, FL.
