Division/Department/Program: ETP LIGHT (Dekalb/Fulton)

View Point Health is seeking a Team Leader, who is licensed (LPC or LCSW or full licensure eligible), to lead the LIGHT Project’s Early Treatment Program (ETP) and provide therapeutic services to individuals throughout DeKalb and Fulton Counties.

Early Treatment Program is a team based, multi-element approach to treating transition age youth and young adults, ages 16-30 years old, with FEP (First Episode Psychosis). This position will be based out of our DeKalb Office. The team of professionals include a Prescriber (APRN), Registered Nurse, Employment & Education Specialist, Clinical Team Leader/Individual Therapist, Case Manager, and Certified Peer Specialist.

CSC (Coordinated Specialty Care) is a collaborative, recovery-oriented approach involving consumers, treatment team members, family members (when appropriate), as active participants. CSC emphasizes shared decision making as a means for addressing the unique needs, preferences, & recovery goals of individuals served. CSC services are also highly coordinated w/ primary medical care, w/ a focus on optimizing consumers overall mental, emotional, & physical health.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting behavioral health assessments
  • Providing therapy to individuals enrolled in the program,
  • Conducting team meetings
  • Managing payment authorizations & failed claims
  • Attending trainings and CEUs
  • Conducting crisis assessments and interventions as needed,
  • Complete & maintain monthly data reports.
  • Supervise a team of professionals.
  • Programmatic development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field
  • License as an LPC or LCSW or full licensure eligible
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth and young adults at transition age
  • At least 1 year of experience working with SPMI (Severe Persistent Mental Illness)

Requirements/Competencies:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy
  • Must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
  • Requires TB Evaluation at pre-employment and annually
  • Requires negative COVID test at employment
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Requires long periods of sitting/standing
  • Must have the following technical skills – Word, Excel and Electronic Health Record (Care Logic)
  • Must be willing to transport residents in company van
  • Must demonstrate the ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients in a residential treatment setting
  • Must be able to lift and carry groceries and supplies and move furniture for cleaning.
  • Must be able to assist disabled individuals on/off vehicle and secure seatbelts. 
  • Must be able to use a gait belt and mechanical lift to lift and position individuals, as needed.
