Job Summary:

Vighter is recruiting multiple Registered Nurses (RN) from ICU/PCU/Critical Care and Stepdown specialties to provide patient care support at the Select Specialty Hospital, located at 620 Skyline Drive, 5th & 6th Floors, Jackson, TN, 38301. The medical facility is rated as a complex surgical facility, therefore provides surgical care to a wide variety of patients, both locally and from surrounding states. LaborEdge Job ID: 27332731

Reports to:

Nurse Team Lead / Nurse Manager

Principle Accountabilities:

• Conduct medical screenings and assist with patient care.
• Refer patients, as needed, to hospital or medical specialists.
• Maintain the case files and database in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Must have exceptional clinical skill and ability

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be proficient in English (read/write/speak).

Education:

• Registered Nursing Degree
• High School Degree or equivalent is required. A copy must be submitted for review in order to work on this project.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day.
• Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
• Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 10 feet.
• Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders
• Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print
• Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear
• Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment
• Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation
• Must undergo urine drug testing
• Positions require applicants to be US Citizens, 21 years or older and have a valid RN license. Must complete criminal background check, urine drug testing, and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) background check.
