Essential Duties
- Work cooperatively with all employees.
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems of production equipment.
- Repair all auxiliary equipment such as temperature controllers, granulators and conveyors
- Install new machinery; modify equipment to meet special requirements.
- Maintain building, lighting, ventilation and HVAC systems.
- Perform minor janitorial duties throughout the facility.
- Complete preventive maintenance schedules on all equipment.
- Assist outside contractors, manufacturing engineering and secondary operations with special projects.
- Implement new technologies.
- Procure replacement and repair items.
- Provide opportunities and training for personal and professional development of the maintenance team.
- Complete performance reviews and provide timely and constructive performance feedback to the technician team.
- Schedule tasks for maintenance technicians.
- Manage and develop maintenance technicians.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Preferred technical school training in related field or equivalent experience.
- Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machinery preferred.
- The ability to multitask, manage several tasks at the same time without losing the ability to complete them on time; communicate with other departments and team members in a professional and respectful manner; basic computer skills.
- To be able to perform daily tasks safely and effectively; to work independently with limited supervision; to solve practical problems; to work effectively with other departments and to manage multiple priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
