Caregiver, HHA/CNA
Village Caregiving, a leading healthcare organization in Fort Wayne, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver, HHA/CNA to join our team in Kokomo, Indiana. This is a part-time, hourly position that is perfect for individuals looking to make a positive impact in their community. As a Caregiver, HHA/CNA you will provide essential support and personal care services to our clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Compensation & Benefits:
This position is for two clients, totaling 29 hours a week, it offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $18, paid semi-monthly, In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes Accidental, Vision and Dental insurance, paid bonuses, and a Daily Pay Card.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as medication reminders
- Provide assistance with light housekeeping, dusting, sweep, mop, clean the bathroom and laundry
- Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the office management and RN
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, following all infection control and safety protocols
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families, providing compassionate care
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide holistic care for each client
- Attend and participate in paid training
Requirements:
- Must be a Caregiver, certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a caregiving role
- CPR/ First Aid Certified, but will provide
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check/ Must Have Reliable Transportation
- Physical ability to assist clients with daily activities and lift up to 50 pounds
