Village Caregiving - Toledo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our residents in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse on duty
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety techniques
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Help with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry as needed
- Document daily care and observations accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with the resident's family, healthcare team, and other staff members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards residents
- Must pass a background check
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
