Village Community Care is Hiring a Caregiver Near Anderson, SC

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in a senior living facility
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), no physical bathing require only vocally assisting
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions and document accurately
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health status
- Ensure resident safety and well-being by following established protocols and resident rights
- Assist with meal preparation

-Light duties to keep assigned work areas clean and free from odor and clutter
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities

Experience:
- Previous experience in assisted living preferred
- Knowledge of mental illness care techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Ability to cook lunch and dinner
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to maintaining their dignity and privacy

Schedule:

You will work 4 days one week, work 3 days next week, off every other weekend.

1 week you work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours

4 extra paid overtime hours

Example:

FIRST WEEK/ WORK - Saturday, Sunday, Monday OFF -Tuesday and Wednesday WORK - Thursday and Friday

SECOND WEEK/ OFF - Saturday, Sunday, Monday WORK - Tuesday and Wednesday OFF - Thursday and Friday

1st shift starting pay is up to $11.00

Pay is bi-weekly on Wednesday

No experience required but preferred, paid training will be provided. Must be willing to learn.
