VillageCare is Hiring a Certified Medication Aide Near Angleton, TX
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollowing accepted practices and regulations, prepares, administers and documents medications for residentsCompletes/updates the Electronic Medication Report, as requiredAssists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bedAssists residents with eating where needed and record food intakeReads and follow daily care planes.
Performs assigned restorative and rehabilitive procedures, monitors and records vital signs, reports changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse, documents care provisions on resident record/flow sheets as required and reports accidents and incidents Maintains resident confidentiality.
Complies with all company, state and OSHA standardsPerforms other related duties as required or requestedMinimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Highschool diploma or equivalent 1 year of long term care CNA experienceMust have active state CMA license/certification Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
