Job Description: 1st Facilities Cleaner

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Aurora, IL.

Shift: 1A (5 AM – 3:30 PM)

Salary: 16.50 Hourly

VIM Recyclers provides full-scale recycling to Food Manufacturing businesses and offers certified Destruction Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks.
• Comply with State and Federal regulations
• Perform routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors through tasks such as mopping, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Dust and clean windows, blinds, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet cleaners safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report when supplies need to be reordered.
• Follows safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Conducts safety inspections and reports any unsafety conditions to the supervisor
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event setup and teardown.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years or older to apply
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable and Reliable
• Excellent Attendance and ability to work overtime
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Physical demands include lifting, standing, bending, and pushing for long periods

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Warehouse setting exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and cold/hot temperatures.
• Exposed to normal work hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, moving vehicles, and machines.
• Fast Paced manufacturing environment with some allergen products.
