As Central Support Manager to VC Kids ministry, you will oversee a variety of ministry functions across multisite campuses including Childcare Services, Frontline and Hospitality teams, volunteer administration and support to ministry programs, events and outreach. This position works directly with the VC Kids Central Pastor to ensure consistency in ministry vision, programing and safety protocols across campuses and represent the Weekend Team through ministry alignment with Vineyard’s mission, vision, values, strategic plan and direction. Supervise Frontline and Hospitality Services at each campus, leading teams of staff and volunteers during weekend services to welcome and direct Vineyard families and secure the family check-in process
Cultivate a Ministry of Welcome by engaging, resourcing, registering, and leading families
Manage database as it relates to weekend programming for kids (birth-5 th grade) by ensuring excellence in the monitoring of classrooms
Train staff and volunteers in safety and security protocols, collaborating with Security teams
Support midweek and weekend adult programming for families that align with Vineyard’s mission and values by managing Childcare Services
Administer the hiring, onboarding and training of childcare staff
Approve timecards for payroll, conduct performance reviews and provide opportunities for staff development
Schedule and supervise Childcare staff during programs/events and collaborate across ministries to ensure service satisfaction
Administrate VC Kids volunteer requisites across campuses, ensuring the timely processing of leader applications, background checks, and trainings
Schedule and develop leader trainings, discussions, appreciation efforts, and recruiting strategies that coincide with VC Kids programming
Support the implementation of VC Kids programs, events and outreachat campuses to maintain consistency and excellence
What You Bring
2-3 years’ experience with supervision and management of staff and/or volunteers
Knowledge of the developmental stages of children (spiritual, social, behavioral) preferred
Understanding of safety and security protocols as it relates to the protection of children
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training and supervising volunteer teams
Strong administrative skills in managing teams, projects, budgets, and communications
Strong ability to explore, learn, and adapt to new technology and relevant software programs
Demonstrated abilities to research and experience with Family Systems preferred
Experience working/leading in diverse environments and with multi-racial, multi-cultural families
Flexibility for week-to-week ministry demands including weekends and holidays
Knowledge and embodiment in practice of the Scriptures
