We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Boutique Wine Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our team. Candidates with an ability to interact comfortably with a wide variety of clientele along with a working knowledge of wine will receive preference.

A friendly, positive, self-starting and dedicated attitude is crucial in this position. This role has proven to be a great entry into the wine industry with a path to grow within an expanding organization. We're eager to meet people who share our passion for fine wine and dedication to our customers!

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, and assist customers
• Provide product information and recommendations
• Facilitate purchases both in-store and online
• Maintain displays and overall shop presentation
• Conduct daily tastings
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Stay current with new offerings

Skills

• Experience as a retail sales representative, sales associate or similar role
• Experience in the wine industry in either a retail shop or restaurant setting
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Basic knowledge of common IT platforms (Google Suite, MS Office)
• Ability to carry wine cases (40 pounds) safely up stairs
• Ability to perform in a multi-faceted environment

Job Type: Part-time
