Role Description

Our client is looking for a lead product engineer to help develop, prioritize, and make data-driven decisions along multiple product lines:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and market demands for the products that you own.
• Leverage your technical background to deeply understand the complexities of the company's products, including architecture, development processes, and technical constraints.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Develop new and improve existing user-facing features and products.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience building user-facing products.
• Be highly proficient in working with web technologies including Node.js, TypeScript and React.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, and data analytics.
• Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Passion for startup culture with a strong ability to take ownership and operate independently.
• First-principled thinker who can communicate opinions clearly, and willing to be convinced otherwise through thoughtful discourse.
• Previous work in fintech, payments, and the nonprofit sector is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical field, or relevant work experience.
