We are seeking an assistant manager acting as one of two in support of the contract operations manager, for a sizeable team of customer service-centered members at Orlando International Airport. If you didn't know, we are one of the busiest airports in the country and ranked among the busiest in the world, therefore the workweek would include weekends as they are the busiest time of service at our international airport.

Your primary focus will currently be on the delivery of service, ensuring it meets or exceeds standards by means of auditing and initiatives, a fully-staffed and well-executed schedule, and the initial training and continuous development and performance management of shift supervisors and team members toward meeting contract needs. In the absence of administrative assistance or the contract manager, you would then need to be able to step into their tasks until such a time as their return.

The desired candidate must be able to cooperate, coordinate, and collaborate with other managers and company representatives both in-person and remotely and would have a minimum of three years of experience managing a team either as senior or assistant manager and had worked in the hospitality and tourism, aviation, or service industries. You will also need to be proficient in the use of Office products including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and able to learn and to a limited extent make use of our HRIS/payroll and timekeeping and scheduling systems.

•  The successful applicant will have to be able to respond and arrive at the airport within 60 minutes of notice, so must be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. There is currently no relocation package available. The starting wage for this position is $65,000 with midpoint of $75,000 with applicable benefits available.
