We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires excellent observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle potentially stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
• Registered as a security guard (as needed)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
