Viracon is Hiring a Maintenance Inventory Coordinator Near Owatonna, MN
Shift: 1st shift regularLG: 5Pay: $20.80FunctionProvide inventory support to the maintenance and engineering personnel.
Essential Job Duties
- Good computer and communication skills.
- Assign new account codes in 7I for new vendors.
- Receive goods from the dock and distribute accordingly.
- Receive into 7I and download to accounts payable.
- Generate weekly reports for Engineering meeting.
- Generate work orders on a weekly basis and sort them.
- Pick up parts as required.
- Find purchase order numbers for invoices coming in without them.
- Check on what needs to be ordered, double check it and issue requisitions.
- Close out completed calibrations and file them.
- Performs duties in accordance with the Business Process Documentation.
- Participates in Viracon’s Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team’s performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.
- Able to work well with the maintenance personal.
- Use department credit card for miscellaneous items.
- Continuously organizing and keeping track of parts in stock.
- Work closely with accounts payable.
- Make sure all purchase orders are properly filled out in 7I.
- Keep ISO book up to day and make any changes.
- Work with DataStream on 7I problems.
- Train other employees on 7I program.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions (English).
- Familiar with operating power tools.
- Ability to take supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
- Must be able to safely perform essential job responsibilities.
- Regular full-time attendance.
- Promotes Viracon in a positive manner and obeys all policies.
