We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner who can work closely with our team to diagnose and treat conditions related to cardiac electrophysiology. Candidate must have extensive experience treating cardiovascular disease and additional experience with electrophysiology is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessments in the hospital and clinic.
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and educate patients on their proper use.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Coordinating and managing patient care with other medical staff on site as well as referring physicians.
• Triage patient calls and take appropriate action, or refer to appropriate physician or office staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

- Must have cardiology experience. Electrophysiology experience preferred.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience with EMR and EHR systems
- Knowledge of physiology and patient care best practices
- Familiarity with CPT coding and medical documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work with diverse patient populations and medical settings

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
