Position Overview:

The Director of Acquisitions will be responsible for leading the company's growth strategy through the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of businesses and assets that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a successful track record in mergers and acquisitions, excellent negotiation skills, and great relationship building skills. A deep understanding of the lawn care industry is helpful.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Analysis:

·        Develop and execute the company's acquisition strategy in alignment with overall business goals.

·        Conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets.

·        Analyze financial statements, business models, and industry trends to assess acquisition opportunities.

2. Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:

·        Identify and cultivate relationships with potential acquisition targets.

·        Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective acquisitions.

·        Evaluate the strategic fit and financial impact of potential acquisitions.

3. Negotiation and Execution:

·        Lead negotiations with target companies, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

·        Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to structure and execute deals.

·        Manage the end-to-end acquisition process, from initial contact to closing.

4. Integration and Post-Acquisition Management:

·        Develop integration plans for acquired businesses.

·        Oversee the seamless integration of acquired companies into the [Company Name] ecosystem.

·        Monitor the performance of acquisitions to ensure they meet strategic and financial objectives.

5. Leadership and Collaboration:

·        Build and lead a high-performing acquisitions team.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a proven track record of successful deals.

·        Strong understanding of the lawn care industry and market dynamics.

·        Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and financial modeling skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to travel as needed to evaluate potential acquisitions and meet with stakeholders.
