We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team at our Internal Medicine Practice located in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collects time records submitted via various means and accurately enter the data into the payroll processing system within established deadlines
• Calculates payroll adjustments, processes bi-weekly payrolls, and maintains various payroll records for reporting and compliance purposes
• Produces and audits employment files and payroll records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Researches and responds to various payroll-related inquiries
• Compiles and distributes various employee, payroll, insurance, and/or tax-related reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis
• Upholds and enforces company standards and procedures
• Exercises a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
