  • Serve as point of contact for vendors with Microsoft Dynamics (MD365) related issues for invoice processing.
  • Prepare annual 1099 forms for applicable vendors and required reporting to IRS.
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 50 employees, including maintaining knowledge of any changes provided by our internal HR department or any applicable state agencies such as DHRM and DOA.
  • Reconcile all payroll-related accounts to ensure accuracy and facilitate timely payment processing to benefits vendors.
  • Serve as a partner to internal departments, including Procurement, FP&A, Engineering, and Rail Services, to gather and organize data.
  • Provide regular training to internal departments in reviewing invoices, locating payments in MD365, and submitting travel and expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate the year-end accrual process with internal project managers and external vendors to obtain accurate estimates on capital projects for financial reporting.
  • Assist with annual audit and financial statement preparation.
  • Assist with the continued development of fiscal policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
