Viridan Group is partnered with a leading renewable energy EPC based in the Northeast. Their small, dynamic team has built over 10 GW of projects across the US. Given their success, they are looking to add an Electrical PV Engineer. This person will support solar projects from early-development through completion.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering deliverables for DG and utility-scale Solar projects.
• Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors and develop technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Perform technical assessments throughout development, implementation, and construction to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide technical input for PV/solar power plant proposals and support proposal development with detailed documentation.
• Lead and oversee the design and configuration of control systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements and safety standards.
• Maintain design tools and standards

Qualifications

• 3 Years of experience with electrical design for traditional or renewable power plants
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Previous commercial, distributed, or utility-scale solar experience is a plus
• Experience with PV modeling
• Proficient with PVSyst
