Job Details
Viridian is a craft cocktail bar and restaurant located in Uptown Oakland offering contemporary small
dishes and desserts inspired by the Asian-American experience. Our award-winning establishment has
received recognition from Forbes, Esquire, SF Chronicle, and more. We are currently looking to hire a talented and dedicated Kitchen Manager to continue our vision of providing an award-winning, unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Financials
General bookkeeping responsibilities
Scan and send invoices to be entered
File scanned invoices
Invoice approval and management
Employees
Verify Payroll Hours with Employees Enter time adjustments daily
Schedule staff and manage time off
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
Liaise between upper management and employees to perform staff evaluations
Customers
Fulfill receipt requests by searching on POS systems.
Send and receive credit card authorization forms for large reservations or buyouts
Process and ship online gift card orders
During holidays, help take, process, and organize holiday orders, especially shipping and delivery.
Ordering
Ordering of office and restaurant supplies as requested by manager
Menus / Online Platforms
Revise menus as needed and update paper menu and digital menu as necessary
Update website as needed
Schedule and write social media posts and videos
General Tasks
Assist manager with general office tasks as needed
Errands relevant to Restaurant Operations
Qualifications
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate and understand direction to ensure safety in the workplace
Ability to understand, respond, and engage with co-workers, managers, and guests
Positive attitude
Must have a valid driver’s license and use of own transportation
Willingness to travel for general errands and tasks
Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed
Time management and ability to work under pressure
Reading and speaking comprehension skills
Discipline to follow set standards
Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Ability to create and write SOPs and other documentation clearly and professionally
Ability to use general office software
Ability to use Quickbooks Desktop is a plus
