Join our team at Virtucom Inc. where we integrate cutting-edge technology with education. We are seeking a versatile candidate to fill the role of Non-CDL Box Truck Driver/Installation Technician. This hybrid position is crucial in ensuring the safe transportation of goods and efficient installation of technology equipment in educational settings.

Job Requirements:

• Safely transport Virtucom goods and orders using vehicles ranging from small vans to 26ft box trucks.
• Load and unload vehicles at Virtucom facilities and destinations.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Execute installations of technology equipment in school districts.
• Conduct site assessments to optimize installation configurations.
• Prepare equipment for installation, including unpacking and organizing tools.
• Ensure secure and correct equipment installation according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Calibrate systems and perform software updates as required.
• Conduct thorough system testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality.
• Provide client training on equipment use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed records of installations and provide reports as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to drive up to a 26ft box truck (CDL preferred but not required).
• Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required).
• Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs and using equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for standard work hours (8 AM – 5 PM) with flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays, to accommodate customer delivery preferences. It can include early morning or late evening shifts for a temporary duration. 
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Physical endurance to handle a demanding workload and various on-site conditions.
