Job Description: The Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics. The ideal candidate will be experienced in echocardiography and possess strong technical skills to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct echocardiograms and other cardiovascular imaging studies as directed by physicians.
- Analyze and interpret findings to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document findings in a timely manner.
- Ensure the ultrasound equipment is well-maintained and functions properly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Certification: RDCS from ARDMS, CCI, or CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
- Experience: 3 years of echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred.
- Strong technical skills in performing and interpreting echocardiograms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
