Responsibilities
- CT Imaging: Perform CT scans according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Patient Care: Prepare and administer contrast media following hospital policy and safety guidelines. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards. Apply critical thinking, professional, and ethical judgment to deliver high-quality care.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to other CT technologists, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.
- Required:
- Completion of a post-high school diploma program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) certification.
- BLS Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
