Trusted Staffe is conducting a search for a Director of Cardiovascular Services for our client, a prominent 137-bed acute care medical center located in Sanford, NC. This leadership role is critical for overseeing and enhancing cardiovascular services, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Cardiovascular Services department, including the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage departmental operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices and clinical protocols.
- Facilitate staff training and professional development to maintain high standards of care.
- Education: Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state is required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- 5 years of training, education, and/or experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
