Position DescriptionThe Family Practice Physician will play a crucial role in delivering both routine and emergency clinical care, promoting health, and practicing preventative medicine. We seek a physician who aligns with our client's mission, vision, and values while adhering to compliance protocols and established procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive and continuing care, including health history collection, physical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and referral management.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications within your specialty, interpret lab results, and provide case management services as needed.
- Call Schedule: Participate in the practice's on-call rotation.
- Certification Maintenance: Maintain board certification and other required certifications (BLS, PALS).
- Documentation: Accurately and timely maintain patient medical records within the electronic health record system.
- Billing: Submit patient charges promptly.
- Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Serve as a community ambassador.
- Participate in practice and organizational meetings and events.
- Provide constructive guidance and feedback to colleagues.
- Participate in the peer review program and supervise colleagues as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency.
- Licensing through the USMLE.
- Active and unrestricted Massachusetts medical license.
- Specialty board certification or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire.
- Electronic medical records experience.
- Previous practice experience, but new graduates with J1 visas are welcome.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
