Your Role As An Imaging Supervisor
Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Radiology Clinical Support team, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic imaging.
Staff Management: Develop and manage staff schedules, provide guidance and mentorship, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of imaging equipment, evaluating replacement needs and ensuring optimal performance.
Systems Management: Monitor PACS and RIS integrity, ensuring the seamless flow of patient information and images.
Cost Management: Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization and maintain budgetary compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license.
3-5 years of radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role in one of the following modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, or Ultrasound.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Preferred:
Experience in a large teaching facility.
Previous supervisory experience.
Fluoroscopy license/certification.
Certifications in one or more of the following: Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
