Trusted Staffe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Director, Clinical Education to join our partner hospital in Goodyear, AZ. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of nursing education and ensuring that Tenet's educational strategic plan is effectively implemented across the market.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Collaboration
- Oversee market-wide educational activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and Tenet policies.
- Foster interprofessional collaboration to enhance patient/family satisfaction and overall nursing quality.
- Ensure policies and procedures reflect evidence-based practices.
- Interview, hire, lead, manage, develop, and coach the education team.
- Promote professional development and encourage staff certifications.
- Collaborate with Tenet's Clinical Improvement (CI) team for successful project implementation.
- Assist in creating a strategic plan for education and CI based on needs assessments.
- Manage program activities and resources, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Coordinate and provide ongoing staff development programs, performance improvement initiatives, and special projects.
- Collaborate to identify and develop high-risk, low-volume clinical competencies.
- Oversee competency creation, review, and evaluation processes.
- Develop education action plans based on survey findings.
- Actively participate in the Group Clinical Education Advisory Board projects.
- Stay informed about organizational, regulatory, and Tenet educational requirements, communicating pertinent information.
- Ensure compliance with nursing education and oversee .edu assignments and mandatory training.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
- Share knowledge and information with team members.
- Manage the CEU application process.
- Incorporate LEAN methodology into daily practice.
- Oversee affiliation agreements, clinical instructors, and students.
- Build collaborative relationships with affiliated schools.
- Participate in developing and presenting formal CE offerings.
- Education: MSN and graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: 5 years of nursing experience, with 3 years in a clinical leadership role. Teaching and staff development experience is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Current State Licenses
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications
