Trusted Staffe seeks a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our partner, a medical center in Santa Monica, CA. This role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist patient care. Eligible external hires can receive a $5,000 hiring bonus upon meeting the required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain quality control measures
- Analyze imaging results and report findings to the supervising physician
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire, or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 6 months of experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year
- 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if a recent graduate from an approved technician training program)
