Position Overview: Trusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for our partner, a medical center in Cottonwood, AZ. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive therapy services in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Experience in hand therapy is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with various conditions, focusing on improving their ability to perform daily activities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide hand therapy, including rehabilitation for wrist and upper extremity conditions.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- AZ or Compact License, in hand at the time of application.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in hand therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Shift: 5x8s, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Daily Caseload: 8-11 patients.
- Weekend Requirement: No.
- On-Call Requirement: No.
- Floating Requirement: No.
- Floating to Sister Facilities: No.
- Blocked Scheduling: Monday - Friday.
- Locals Accepted: Yes.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week, the facility is allowed to call off 6 times throughout a 13-week assignment.
- Outpatient therapy clinic with OT, PT, and SLP services.
- Looking for an OT or PT who can support hand therapy in an outpatient setting.
- The caseload may not be entirely hand/wrist/upper extremity but this specialty area is a specific need.
- Preference for candidates with experience in hand therapy diagnosis and referrals.
- Scrub Color: Business Casual.
- Charting: Cerner.
- Parking Cost: Free Parking.
- The candidate must submit a fingerprint clearance card and the application to obtain an AZ OT License.
- Fingerprint clearance estimated turnaround time: 4-6 weeks.
- OT Application estimated turnaround time: 3-6 weeks.
- The whole process can take anywhere from 10-12 weeks.
