- Collaborate: Work effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, nurses, social workers, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Document: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and treatment interventions.
- Education:
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Licensure:
- Valid state license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Maine.
- Experience:
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
