Opportunity SummaryVirtus Healthcare Staffing is pleased to partner with a leading medical center in Twin Falls, Idaho, to recruit a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a technologically advanced healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction & Education: Gather pertinent information from patients, families, providers, and nurses to facilitate accurate diagnoses and provide clear explanations of procedures, including pre-and post-procedure instructions.
  • Exam Verification & Accuracy: Ensure that the correct examination is being administered to the patient, consulting with the ordering provider as needed.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies and perform daily equipment inspections.
  • Procedural Assistance: Assist providers during invasive procedures, demonstrating proficiency in fluoroscopy/C-arm operation.
  • Advanced Skills: Independently perform advanced radiologic tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to ALARA principles.
  • Additional Duties: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the radiology department by completing other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Additional:
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
    • Strong technical skills and experience with various radiologic equipment and procedures.
    • Commitment to patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles.
    • Willingness to participate in call rotation as needed.
