- Provide critical care: Deliver expert respiratory care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults, in a variety of settings, including critical care, emergency department, medical-surgical, telemetry, childbirth center, nursery, neonatal ICU, and PACU.
- Utilize your expertise: Employ your intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate and empower patients: Teach patients and their families about their respiratory conditions and how to manage them effectively.
- Make a difference: Your work will directly impact the lives of patients struggling with respiratory issues, helping them breathe easier and live fuller lives.
- Required:
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program accredited by the CoARC
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (within 90 days of hire)
- 2 years of full-time hospital-based acute care RCP experience
