Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional status to develop individualized care plans.
- Care Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, focusing on maximizing functional independence and improving quality of life.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, pain management, and patient education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for optimal recovery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience:
- 1 years' experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred:
- Experience in rehabilitation nursing or a related specialty
- Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN)
