Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated RN - Labor and Delivery to join our partner, a hospital in Salem, OR. This role requires night shifts, with options for either 36 or 48 hours per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. Please note that no requests for time off (RTO) will be permitted for the 4th of July holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and their families
- Assist with labor and delivery, including the preparation and management of the delivery room
- Monitor and document patient progress during labor and delivery
- Administer medications and perform routine and emergency procedures
- Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
- Night (3x12 Hours): 19:00 - 07:30
- Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Valid Oregon RN license (pending licenses accepted)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
