Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks an RN - Long Term Care for our partner, a medical center in Seward, AK. We offer up to a $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full-time external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Job DescriptionThe Primary Care Nurse oversees the resident care for a specific group of residents, including the supervision of team members such as Shahbazim. Nursing services provided by Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the director of nursing (DNS) through the licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians, and serves as the point of contact for elder information.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months of Nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation center)
- Supervision/leadership experience
- Up to $15,000 hiring bonus
- Relocation assistance for eligible candidates
