Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Med/Surg unit.
- Perform thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, and therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred
- ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
