Key Responsibilities
- Versatile Nursing Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units, demonstrating adaptability and a wide range of clinical skills in areas such as medical-surgical, telemetry, critical care, and more.
- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs.
- Skilled Interventions: Deliver expert nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, patient education, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care across different units.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of the nursing resource pool.
- Professional Development: Embrace a culture of continuous learning and growth, staying abreast of the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
- Preferred:
- National Certification in a relevant specialty area
