Shift: Evening/Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, overtime after 40 hours
COVID-19: This position does not involve direct care for COVID-19 patients.

Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading hospital in Madison, WI, to find an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse for their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This rewarding position offers the opportunity to provide specialized care to critically ill children in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with critical illnesses and injuries.
- Perform thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on their child's condition, treatment plan, and recovery process.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of PICU experience preferred
- Current BLS/BCLS and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated competency in interpreting cardiac rhythms (successful completion of a 20-question test with a score of 80% or higher and 100% accuracy on life-threatening rhythms)
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evening/night shifts and every other weekend
